Big Brothers Big Sisters?cheque presentation, thanking Upper Oakville Shopping Centre for their help in raising $5602.00?at their first annual 3 on 3 charity basketball tournament.

| Salvation Army cheque presentation, thanking Upper Oakville Shopping Centre and The Niblick Pub for their help in raising $5120.00 for the Salvation Army. Megan Richardson and Ken Stockstill from the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre (UOSC) recently presented a cheque in the amount of $5,120 to Major Higdon from the Salvation Army. They were joined by Lynda Horgan whose late husband Jim was the driving force behind the fundraising inititative. Jim was a long time friend and patron of the UOSC and Niblick Pub in particular. It was there where Jim made a lot of the collections himself in support of this very worthy cause. The fundraiser took place over a two month period with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army Food Bank.
